AAJC is a national nonprofit founded in 1991 to protect civil and human rights. As a national advocate for Asian Americans based in Washington, D.C., we serve our country's newest American community by promoting justice for all Americans, empowering our communities, bringing local and national constituencies together, and ensuring Asian Americans are able to fully participate in our democracy
-
“As an Asian American witnessing recent rises in Asian hate crimes, I'm horrified of the idea of my family and friends being at risk. I appreciate AAJC's efforts to raise awareness of the rising hate crimes and want to support their anti-Asian hate initiatives.”
- Michael Park, BFF Partner
-

-
“This nonprofit backs a cause that I personally resonate with and I would like to see my efforts support their initiatives.”
- Michelle Nguyen, BFF Partner

The Equal Justice Initiative is a non-profit organization, based in Montgomery, Alabama, that provides legal representation to prisoners who may have been wrongly convicted of crimes, poor prisoners without effective representation, and others who may have been denied a fair trial
-
“As an African-American from a low-income community, American criminal justice reform is an issue that has always been close to my heart. Throughout my life, I've seen, read about, and watched the damaging effects a wrongful conviction can have on individuals and families who look like and come from communities like mine. I felt compelled to choose the Equal Justice Initiative as my donor organization because providing legal representation to wrongfully convicted and poor prisoners substantially changes the lives of those affected most by our nation's historically inequitable criminal justice system.”
- Tarek Deida, BFF Partner

For 42 years, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia, has provided professional, compassionate, and empowering support to battered women and their children in metro Atlanta. PADV works to end domestic violence by: offering safety and shelter for battered women and their children; restoring power, self-sufficiency and control to domestic violence survivors; and educating the public on the dynamics of domestic violence
-
“Grew up in a domestic violence household and experienced the impact of violent households firsthand. Women and children who have their livelihoods devastated by these circumstances need better resources in situations where they are too scared or if it is even too dangerous to seek help.”
- Kevin Zhu, BFF Partner
